IVAR-TRAUTSCHOLD AWARD FOR THE PROMOTION OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS

The German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (DGKL) endows the Ivar-Trautschold Award for the Promotion of Young Scientists to young academics for outstanding scientific performance in the field of clinical chemistry and pathobiochemistry.


Endowment

Conferment

The award is presented every two years on the occasion of the annual general meeting or the Hj. Staudinger Symposium of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. Conferment is undertaken by the president of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine or his/her deputy.

 

Award recipients

All scientists below the age of 36 years may apply.
The award cannot be shared.

 

Call for proposals

The award will be announced at least three months before conferment in the newsletter of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine.
Applicants must submit published scientific articles or articles in press not older than two years at the time of application and a brief career progression resume. Applications are to be sent to the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine.

 

Jury

Voting for the award will be carried out by a jury comprising three members of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine to be appointed by executive committee.
The award will be granted without legal prejudice.
