Ivar Trautschold Young Researcher Award

The German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine awards the Ivar-Trautschold Young Researcher prize to young scientists for their outstanding work in the field of clinical chemistry and pathobiochemistry.

 

Reward

€ 7.500,--.

 

Award Ceremony

The prize is awarded annually either at the annual conference or at the Hj.-Staudinger Symposium of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine e.V.. The award is presented by the President or Vice President of the German Society of Clinical Chemistry.

 

Nominees

Scientists younger than 36 years of age may apply for the award.

The award may not be split.

 

Nomination

The prize will be announced at least 3 months before the award ceremony in the News of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine.
Submissions must include scientific papers which have been published or accepted for publication and must not be older than two years at the time of application. The work, together with a professional background summary, shall be addressed to the Executive Committee of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine e. V.

 

Voting Committee

The decision on the selection of the prizewinner is made by a voting committee consisting of three members of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine appointed by the Executive Committee.
